$50,000 raised for animal preservation


Ristorante Fellini’s inaugural cocktail party fundraiser for the Orangutan Foundation International Australia on Friday May 3 was a huge success.

More than $50,000 was raised for the organisation’s work rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing orphaned and misplaced orangutans in Sumatra and Borneo.

The acclaimed waterfront restaurant hosted more than 160 guests who attended the cocktail party fundraiser and generously took part in an auction of ‘money can’t buy’ items, winning exclusive prizes including a dinner date for two with Australia’s leading neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo and backstage tickets to meet Jimmy Barnes’ on his upcoming concert tour.

Ristorante Fellini will hold its next cocktail party fundraiser for a selected charity in May 2020.
